The best destination wedding locations outside the US
Now that I’ve already posted some of my favorite destination wedding spots in the U.S. it’s time for our brides who are looking to travel a bit farther! I’ve gathered some of my favorite spots that I think would be perfect for a smaller destination wedding a far with your closest friends and family.
Mexico
Mexico can be an amazing spot for a tropical destination wedding with your closest friends and family. Cabo San Lucas has one of the most beautiful ocean front views with cliff side or beach wedding spots. In addition, having your guests stay at an all inclusive resort during their trip is perfect because everything they could need is right there! Not to mention, Cabo has gorgeous weather and the flight isn’t too far away! The oppurtunities are endless in Cabo and I’m sure your guest will absolutely love a beach trip away.

Dominican Republic
The Dominican is another amazing tropical spot for the perfect beach wedding. Known for its gorgeous white sand beaches, a place like Punta Cana would make the most gorgeous back drop! Not to mention the beautiful palm trees and clear blue water would truly pop in your pictures. Another great thing about it is the perfect year round weather which typically averages in the 70’s or 80’s. Again, this flight isn’t too time consuming and would guarantee a fun time for your guest.

Bahamas
The Bahamas is another gorgeous wedding spot with its gorgeous pink sand beaches and blue water. A great thing about the Bahamas is there is so much more to do than just get married! Scuba diving, sailing, and snorkeling are all great activities you and your guest can participate in before or after all the wedding fun! Not to mention, there’s no need to plan a honeymoon… just stay and enjoy your time in the Bahamas after saying “I do!”

ITALY
If you are thinking about taking your wedding a bit farther away, why not try Italy! There is so much to love about Italy and so many different directions you can take a wedding in Italy to. If a beautiful countryside vineyard sounds like your vibe then somewhere like Tuscany would be perfect for your big day. If you are wanting more of a romantic, historical wedding then I would suggest Rome. Either way Italy is full of romance and gorgeous landscapes and will ensure a perfect wedding day.

GREECE
Lastly, Greece has some of the most beautiful wedding venues. Santorini is covered in gorgeous white walls and alleyways it is the perfect backdrop for all your pictures. Cliffs that overlook the sea will make your wedding day truly feel like a dream. Santorini has become a popular spot for destination weddings and is best recommend from April to October. This is a destination spot that would be better for closest friends and family because after all it isn’t a short trip and can be a lot for a big wedding!
